SAG-AFTRA W // X

Huge win for SAG-AFTRA and unions everywhere. After 118 days, THE STRIKE IS OVER. Key details:

  • The contract is valued at over 1 BILLION dollars.

  • Minimum compensation increase.

  • AI rights protection (this was key)

  • Streaming service participation bonus (huge)

  • Pension & health benefits raise

  • Increase in wage for background performers & protection for diverse communities

Because of this deal, the small actors who have devoted their life to entertainment will now be able to do so under protection with a livable wage. Congratulations to the union, to those who were at the picket lines and to those who made countless sacrifices to fight for the better. The entertainment industry is BACK. This is where the fun begins.

šŸ“ŗ My Watchlist

Loki S2 E5 - This is the best piece of content the MCU has producedā€¦maybe ever? Genuinely interesting, creative and exciting. Watch if you havenā€™t.

Gen V S1 Finale - The finale felt a tad off compared to the rest of the show, but it still stuck the landing and I canā€™t wait to see what comes next.

Invincible S2 Premiere - I just really missed this show. It looks like the production value skyrocketed and the storylines theyā€™re setting up have me intrigued.

Marvelā€™s Spider-Man 2 - Made it to the third act - thoroughly enjoying my time with this. Iā€™m unsure if the story is as good as the first, but the gameplay here is incredible.

Fortnite OG - Nostalgia at its finest. Feels great to play a simplified Fortnite again on this fantastic map. Jump in.
